Banny Custom Homes specializes in new construction and renovation from traditional to ultra-contemporary.

Built in the 1940's, this home had the classic center-entry floor plan - busy little spaces with tiny rooms, too many hallways and lots of doors. Banny Custom Homes came up with a plan to open up the space and make it relevant for today's lifestyle.

The first step was to remove interior walls and create a new support system for the structural elements. Every wall on the first floor now has large openings in it or has been removed, so that no walls completely divide the space.

The result is an open and welcoming space that makes the most of the existing footprint of the home. The new spaces match the homeowner's aesthetic and allow for new freedom in decorating. Now, the light from the existing windows travels farther too, creating an even greater sense of spaciousness.
